Leonard Lopardo was raised in Torrington and graduated from Central Ct State University. Following college, he taught high school for 14 years and entered the real estate business in 1980. During the next decade, he managed a local real estate company, founded a real estate development company, mortgage company and an appraisal company. In 1990, he received his brokers license and started Litchfield County Realty in 1991. Throughout the 90’s, Len was successful in selling new construction and existing residential housing. He co-founded Heritage Builders, LLC in 1998 which has since become the largest home building company in Litchfield County. Mr. Lopardo lives in Litchfield County with his wife Cheryl (who also works at Litchfield County Realty and Heritage Builders, LLC) and their 3 children (who work for Heritage Builders, LLC on a part time basis.
