The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts

Located in an historic building in Torrington, Connecticut, the Nutmeg Ballet lies at the southern gateway to the Berkshires and all of picturesque New England, close to Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, Yale Summer School of Music and Art, and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Equidistant from Boston and New York City, Nutmeg provides students with an integral link to the cultural and historic richness of this region.

The Warner Theatre

The Warner Stage Company and Studio Theatre share the most active community theatre program in Connecticut and one of the best in America. Main Stage productions offers actors great musicals before thousands of theatregoers in the dramatic setting of an historic 1,700-seat art deco venue, while the Studio Theatre offers an intimate venue for plays and musicals not suited to the Main Stage.

Thomaston Opera House

The Thomaston Opera House is a point of pride for area residents and the many people who participate in productions each year. The building itself serves as the centerpiece for the town. Once inside one cannot help but admire the beautiful craftsmanship found throughout the auditorium. These are not the only attributes of the Thomaston Opera House though. Many of its recent accolades are for the community and regional-based theatre presented throughout the year.

Litchfield Performing Arts

Litchfield's Jazz festival has come a long way. Our commitment to providing the very best in jazz music has earned us a loyal audience, critical acclaim, and praise from our stars. We have had the honor of presenting some of the titans of jazz, musicians like James Moody, Dave Brubeck, Sonny Rollins, Slide Hampton and Amhad Jamal. We were also blessed to have had some of the finest jazz players before they passed away—Tommy Flanagan, Ray Charles, Thomas Chapin, Tito Puente, and Stanley Turrentine.
